ABOUT THE ARTIST

I am a Canadian abstract artist located in Burlington, Ontario.

Influenced by my mother, an artist, who spends endless hours dedicated to the importance of art. Being surrounded by art and colour led to my love of painting early on, particulary the use of colour.

Legally blind without corrective lenses, I draw upon that unfocused state in an attempt to capture the world on canvas in unconventional methods. Taking inspiration from the colours in the world around me and applying them in unconventional methods to canvas, my work revolves around dramatic playful palette choices governed by mood to evoke cheerful emotional responses.
